Corona Virus Church Update 04-20-2020

From The Office of Pastor Lee E. Bynum, MDiv.
Senior Pastor-Teacher

Greetings Over-comers,

God is building Over-comers for victorious living, and you are one of them. You will victoriously come through this season of challenge.

Thank you, thank you for your prayers and participation in our Sunday morning worship by our you-tube channel. As we shared this past Sunday truly, you must "Keep living your best life." Hats off to our media team, and communications team. These persons are due honor above for their efforts in helping us continue to reach beyond the four walls of the Sanctuary into the world of the internet and cyberspace. I am still learning how to do church via the various digital platforms, but I could never do it without these gifted partners.

Additionally, I want to thank the finance team for there tireless effort in handling the financial commitments of the ministry during these difficult and unusual times. The team is continuing to operate with a mindset that Gods finances are first. I want to thank you for your continued financial support of our ministry, and especially your support and concern for me and my family.  As a church we have been able to continue to meet our financial obligations. Because of your faithfulness in giving, we are maintaining and sustaining the ministry during these challenging times.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Be sure to tune in  to our you-tube channel this Sunday, April 26, 2020 as I share with you how the Lord wants to stretch our faith and grow us during these difficult times. I want to stimulate your trust in the Lord, challenge your sanctified imagination and give you opportunities to be on the lookout for demonstrations of the faithfulness of our Lord. Remember our Lord is King of Kings and the King ALWAYS has one more move!

Blessings on you,
Pastor Bynum

PRAYER RESOURCES

During your most difficult times, we want you to know that we are here to pray WITH you and FOR you! Let me thank the Overcomer men for their vigilance in praying for the church body and for those particular situations and circumstances that aren't related or due to this pandemic season.

Also, join with men and women around the world in the 2 Chronicles 7:14 initiative, designed to encourage and strengthen us through the power of prayer.

NHCF  SELFIE SUNDAY

Keep sending those pictures and videos of you and your family demonstrating that your house is a house of prayer. It's been a blessing to see how people are praying through this crisis. An easy way to get your pictures or videos to NHCF is to email to pastor@newhope-cf.org or ministry@newhope-cf.org.

A GIVING HEART

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

That familiar passage of scripture reminds us that we're never more like God than we love and when we give. Why do we give? One, because we serve a God who demonstrated his love for us, by giving his only Son. And two, we give because we're grateful. Despite the circumstances and in spite of the challenges, we still have a grateful heart. We do as David declares in Psalm 34--"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."
